Jamal Musiala: Bayern Munich forward shares health update after collapsing during a match again

Bayern Munich attacker Jamal Musiala has reassured fans after collapsing during a match for the second time in less than a week. The Germany international went down during a team training session on Tuesday, just four days after a similar incident in a league game. Musiala has now come forward to explain what is happening, saying he is dealing with a condition called absence seizures.

The 23-year-old described the episodes as treatable and stressed that there is no long-term danger to his health. In a short statement, Musiala said the seizures are brief and do not affect his breathing or heart function. He added that he has been fully checked by specialists and that the medical staff at Bayern are aware of the situation. The player confirmed he expects to keep playing at the highest level without any major changes to his career.

Absence seizures are short, sudden lapses of consciousness. They can look like a person is simply staring into space for a few seconds. In Musiala's case, the collapse happened during physical exertion, which is rare but not unheard of. Doctors have reportedly cleared him to continue training, though the club is monitoring him closely.

Musiala's teammates and coaches have shown support, and Bayern fans have sent messages wishing him well. The forward is expected to be available for selection in the coming days, but the club has not confirmed if he will start the next match. Musiala said he feels fine and is focused on helping the team.
