A recent study reveals that air pollution from the oil and gas industry is responsible for approximately 91,000 premature deaths each year in the United States. This significant health burden extends beyond fatalities, contributing to hundreds of thousands of additional health issues, including respiratory problems and cardiovascular diseases.
